Job Description
We’re looking for a talented front-end developer to help us convert design mockups into fully functional, responsive WordPress templates. This 3-4 month project will require expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, and WordPress. You’ll be responsible for creating reusable WordPress templates and components that align with provided designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Convert design mockups (e.g., Figma, Sketch, etc.) into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Build reusable components and layouts with Tailwind CSS to create a consistent design system.
Integrate front-end code into WordPress themes, ensuring that templates are dynamic and functional.
Ensure that templates are responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure the site matches the approved designs and user experience guidelines.
Optimize WordPress templates for speed, performance, and SEO.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, providing ongoing support for template adjustments.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Expertise in Tailwind CSS for building reusable components and layouts.
Solid experience in WordPress theme development, including custom templates and theme structure.
Proven ability to convert design mockups into fully functional, responsive WordPress templates.
Experience working with WordPress template tags, custom post types, and theme customization.
Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.
Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
Experience with WordPress plugin integration and customization.
Knowledge of WordPress best practices for performance optimization and SEO.
