Responsibilities

• The Senior .Net Systems Architect/Developer is responsible for taking the lead role in developing, maintaining and supporting our proprietary information management system
• Executing all aspects of the software engineering methodology including planning architecture, writing and implementing code, working with 3rd party libraries, and working through a quality assurance process
• Performing change management and issue handling
• Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties and responsibilities include the following but the individual will also be expected to perform all the duties necessary which are customarily perfumed by a person holding this position
• Other duties may be assigned
• Lead the design and development of systems architecture for new and existing systems
• Implement architecture using Microsoft .NET platform and technologies
• Lead trade studies and prototyping activities designed to evaluate potential solution approaches and identify system performance issues
• Define systems implementation approach and operational concept
• Coordinate efforts across multiple systems and projects to provide an integrated customer solution
• Support design reviews across all B2R departments
• Authors system design documents and development plans, proofs of concepts and status reports
• Interface with the customers’ technical and management staff to review and discuss solution approaches
• Mentor and guide junior staff

Requirements

• Solid grasp of UI Development (HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript)
• Strong experience in .NET 3.5 through .NET 4.5 techniques
• Solid grasp of ASP
• NET WebForms, MVC and C#
• Strong Database Development Skills and ability to work with legacy code: MS SQL Server with integration using DataSet Table Adapters, LINQ2SQL, and Entity Framework
• Ability to Manage Database Schema with 100s of tables, draft architecture and develop software specifications
• Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations
• Ability to work independently and be a team player
• Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to be present in the office
• Ability to travel
• Ability to pass a background check
• Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or mathematics and 6+ years of relevant experience
• Two to five years’ experience on large systems
• Language Skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• Experienced in delivering verbal and written presentations
