Role Description

We are seeking a Senior PHP Laravel Developer with 4-5 years of experience to work on a highly secure and scalable financial product. This role involves developing and maintaining mission-critical financial applications that require precision, compliance, and security. You will be working with a team of backend and frontend developers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

This position is available both as a full-time role or on a contract basis, with an opportunity for an extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize financial applications using Laravel.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and transaction processing systems.
Design and develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party financial services.
Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimized queries and high availability.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate real-time financial dashboards and reports.
Debug and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure scalability and stability.
Participate in Agile development including sprint planning, code reviews, and standups.

Qualifications:

4-5 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development.

Strong knowledge of Laravel 8+, PHP 7/8, and object-oriented programming principles.

Strong database expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL, including query optimization and ACID compliance.

Knowledge of data encryption, security best practices, and PCI-DSS compliance.

Experience with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, multi-factor authentication).

Familiarity with Vue.js/React for frontend integrations (Preferred but not mandatory).

Experience with queues, jobs, event-driven programming, and caching (Redis, Memcached, etc.).

Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
