Summary:

SYSTOLIC is seeking an talented and self-motivated Software Engineer who will use their Python skills to integrate products within the organization and across the agency baseline. You’ll have the opportunity to work with container technologies and service-oriented architectures to enhance capabilities that perform geolocations supporting the warfighter​.​

Qualifications and Compensation:

● Candidates with 14+ years of experience will earn approximately $273,000 per year.

● Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar degree from an accredited university.

● Candidates may substitute 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree.

Day-to-Day Tasks

● Optimize prototype solutions into efficient production services. Integrate with other services.

Required Skills:

● Strong experience developing in Python.

● Experience developing Service oriented architectures.

● Experience developing Microservice solutions.

● Experience developing scalable solutions, applicable to both large- and small-scale platforms.

● Experience with Gitlab.

● Strong experience with container technologies (preferably Podman, but at least Docker).

● Familiarity with ELK and interfacing with it.

Desired Skills:

● Experience with infrastructure message (i.e., ITX).

● Experience with Google Protobufs.

● Database experience such as Mongo or MySql.

● Experience with Agile development practices.

● Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
