Job Description
AVM Consulting Inc is seeking a Senior Python Developer with expertise in AWS services to join our team and contribute to strategic cost allocation projects in the Capital Markets space.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain complex data pipelines using various AWS services.
• Collaborate with the team to design, build, and optimize data engineering solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS services.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python programming, including Pandas, PySpark, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of database interactions, data modeling, and cloud computing concepts.
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of SAS and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, and Terraform.
• Experience with testing automation and API development using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, and UI/UX design principles.
