We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team at Saxon Global. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing dynamic applications using Python, with a strong focus on data flow and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop complex software applications using Python, ensuring high levels of data flow and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
• Develop and maintain multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines effectively.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior developer to work closely with two teams: Bala's team, which focuses on online learning management and facility-facing applications, and Connie's team, which deals with course tool suit content management and new application development on AWS.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong focus on data flow and integration.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and TDD practices.
• Familiarity with Postgres and/or Oracle databases, as well as SQL skills.
• Basic knowledge of React or Vue, with experience in supporting multiple teams or projects.
• Strong understanding of Java, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
