Job Description

Responsibilities

• Join our dynamic team as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, where you will leverage your extensive experience in Ruby and Jruby development (Ruby 2.0+ or Jruby 9.2.6+) to create innovative web applications
• You will be expected to apply your deep knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and strong data structure fundamentals effectively
• Develop and maintain scalable web services and applications through all phases of the software development life cycle, while adhering to agile methodologies
• Implement robust testing frameworks, including unit tests, to ensure high-quality code
• Utilize relational databases, particularly Oracle 12c and/or PostgreSQL, and be proficient with Ruby database libraries such as Sequel and Active Record
• Work with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and engage in CI/CD processes
• Manage source code effectively using Git
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders
