Job Description

Strategic ASI seeks a seasoned Senior Web Developer to drive the success of our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business applications that meet the needs of government customers. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in Ruby on Rails, web development, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Ruby on Rails, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, and Amazon Web Services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document functional requirements.
• Develop cost estimates and conduct impact analysis for software changes.
• Ensure adherence to program configuration change control standards.
• Present innovative solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Write detailed specifications, code software, and conduct unit testing.
• Implement interfaces and conversion routines using web APIs.
• Support formal testing and ensure smooth deployment to production.
• Contribute to training materials for users.
• Stay up-to-date with changing features and technical advancements in the application.
Requirements
• Active Top Secret SCI with CI Poly clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in web or software development.
• Proficiency in basic web programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of web development principles, techniques, and standard programming practices.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Self-driven and motivated individual.
