We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and support software applications as part of a high-impact project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based development, database management, and web services. This role involves working closely with developers, UX designers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
The selected candidate will be responsible for development services related to Childcare Licensing Automation Support System (CLASS) enhancements, ensuring successful deployments through Fiscal Year 2025.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and analysts.
• Develop and support Java, J2EE, JSF, React JS, Node JS, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle WebLogic applications.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• Develop and integrate SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
• Perform unit testing and support integration and functional testing.
• Ensure web accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.0).
• Work within an Agile project management framework.
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, JSF, React JS, Node JS, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle WebLogic.
• 8+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL query languages.
• 8+ years of experience in custom Java application development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience developing SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
• 4+ years of experience using MyEclipse or similar IDEs.
• 4+ years of experience working with Oracle databases.
• 4+ years of experience with unit and functional testing.
• 2+ years of experience with WCAG 2.0 web accessibility compliance.
• 1+ year of experience working with Agile methodologies.
