Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Laravel Software Engineer with experience in Postgres, Vue.js, and Tailwind to join our development team. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant web development experience and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. The position will support the development of a large-scale energy reporting SaaS platform for various state and local governments and building owners across North America.
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain our web applications using PHP, Laravel, Postgres, Vue.js, and Tailwind
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Collaborate with the development and PM teams to design and implement new features
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and programming languages
Qualifications
Strong experience with:
• 5-10 years of relevant web development experience
• PHP, Laravel, Postgres, Vue.js, and Tailwind
• Experience with Cloud services including AWS, Lambda, Elasticsearch, and Redis
• Experience with Git and version control
• Fundamental knowledge of Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of web development concepts and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

Compensation
Compensation is dependent on experience ranging from $100,000-$120,000.
