The *
As a Software Engineer, you will develop, maintain and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements. You will be reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results. You will also provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
• Implement data pipelines at scale, including both synthesizing new pipelines and refactoring existing pipelines to improve efficiency and code correctness.
• Monitor and improve existing data science tools in support of transition from development to production systems.
• Design, implement, and enhance ML analytics using a wide variety of Python libraries including, but not limited to, PyTorch, Num Py, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Train, test, track and curate models using standard tools and practices.
• Integrate Git Ops for continuous integration and deployment of models using Docker scaling.
• Use AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS for building and deploying applications.
• Integrate model and tool outputs within Computer Network Defense (CND) systems and/or software tools to enhance, implement, and maintain the Security Management/Monitoring services and capabilities within the Agency IT Enterprise.
• Document all processes and code; provide comprehensive reports on the completed tasks.

14 years’ experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Pay ** The proposed salary range for this position **** $104,200-$229,200.
