Job Title : Senior Salesforce Developer
Job Location : Torrance, CA
Job Description
As a Senior Salesforce Developer Subject Matter Expert this person will perform the following tasks but not limited to
Application design development and production support for multiple large projects using Salesforce technologies
Conduct development workstreams from design through testing and deployment often working with junior members of the team both offshore and onshore
Ensure adherence and constant improvement to the SDLC process and best practices through the development testing and support phases including code reviews mentoring and policy governance
Participate in daily Scrum sessions as an Agile team member
Identify enhancements through customer interaction and work directly with them to provide solutions
Define systems architecture design techniques and development standards to support cross functional multisystem solutions that scale and are flexible to meet the future needs of the organization
Research and resolve Salesforce application issues in test and production environments
Evaluate the daily and monthly batch process to improve performance and shorten the critical path window
Perform Impact Analysis across multiple Salesforce platforms and applications
Deliver complete documentation for estimates design and development
On call for production support during off office hours night and weekends
Create timelines and development goals
Provide technical leadership
Testing the stability and functionality of the application
Writing documents and providing technical guidance training to other developers
Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
Perform code review The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management
Play the role of a Subject Matter Expert for the AHMCFIT Salesforce applications
What will this person be working on
Codes and performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
Codes tests and debugs new software or makes enhancements to existing software
Writes programs according to specifications from higher level staff or business analysts
Develop technical documentation
Resolves problems promptly that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components
Collaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problems
Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and or data through database management data administration and data extraction techniques
Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback
Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements
Mentors and coaches less experienced staff
Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing monitoring testing and auditing new software programs
Analyzes and resolves computer related problems by coordinating with inhouse personnel to diagnose and fix operational difficulties as well as consulting advising and training on specialized features and functions
Follows established configuration change control processes
Position Success Criteria Desired WANTS
Must have Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
Additional Cloud Consultant Certifications Sales Service Community or Marketing preferred
Must have hands on experience with Service Cloud Community Cloud and Marketing Cloud
Strong experience with complex Salesforce Application Development 7 years
Experience in leading managing a workstream on enterprise implementations 3 years
Salesforce Lightning Development 3 years
Experience with Salesforce Connected Apps
Experienced in leading mentoring and providing technical direction to a team of Salesforce developers
Experienced in designing and developing Salesforce platform features such as custom objects validation rules workflows assignment rules formula fields custom reporting and modifying pages views and dashboards
Application development skills and the ability to solve complex software problems
Experience in developing customer facing applications
Experience in developing Salesforce code as per specifications using Salesforce platform Apex Classes Apex triggers Batch Apex Lightning Web Components LWC Visual Force VF Pages Integration REST SOAP Change Data Capture Platform Events Force.com API Flows Process Builder SOQL and SOSL
Experience In The Captive Finance Industry Preferred
Familiarity with test practices and deliverables for unit testing
Interpersonal style that fits the Company culture
Experience in working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fastpa

Benefits
Compensation range: $ 100,000.00 to 130,000.00 per year
