Job Description

Title: Senior UI Developer (ReactJS)

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, test, document and maintain software through all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze requirements and design solutions supporting business functions.
• Develop prototypes and full featured internal and client facing web applications using React, Bootstrap, CSS, Sass, npm, typescript and JavaScript, ECMAScript.
• Develop user interfaces from wireframes.
• Work with middle tier developers for API interactions.
• Work closely with the Software Engineering managers Project Management and Quality Assurance staff on technical projects and assignments.
• Perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
• Gather and document user requirements when required.
• Provide accurate estimates for the teams requirements, design, development and testing efforts.
• Adhere to the company's SDLC policies regarding source code, control code, peer reviews, sign off and release promotions.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering computer science or a related field of study.
• 8 years of overall experience, with 5 years of experience in UI software development using React, and 5 years of experience in financial services or a related field.
• Java Spring, Boot, REST API development and SQL.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, while working independently and in a group.
• Adaptable, willing to learn new things and take on new challenges.
• Great teammate who will contribute to the company's culture of collaboration, accountability, and strong performance.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.

Salary Transparency:

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations.
