We are looking for a talented Python Developer to join our team at A Free Bird. As a nonprofit organization, we strive to provide Arts Education to children affected by cancer through creative programs and services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing our server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. This role also requires integrating front-end elements into the application, which demands a basic understanding of front-end technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
• Designing and implementing efficient code
• Developing scalable applications
• Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Ensuring security and data protection
Essential Qualifications:
• Expertise in Python and the Django Web Framework
• Familiarity with ORM libraries
• Strong understanding of design principles behind scalable applications
• Proficient skills in unit testing and debugging
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
