• *Senior Web Developer Position Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Senior Web Developer to join our agile development team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with analysts, project leads, UI/UX developers, testers, and customers to design, develop, and refine business applications using Ruby on Rails, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, and Amazon Web Services.
Responsibilities:
• Research and design software systems, including custom, COTS, and GOTS solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX developers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
• Develop cost estimates for software development and enhancements, and conduct impact analysis for software changes.
• Adhere to program configuration change control standards.
• Present ideas for system improvements.
• Produce detailed specifications, write software code, and conduct unit testing.
• Write interfaces and conversion routines leveraging web APIs.
• Support formal testing in a controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
• Provide input into training manuals for users.
• Maintain knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.
Requirements:
• Top Secret SCI with CI Poly Required to Start.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ years of Web or Software Development experience.
• Experience with basic web programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Knowledge of web development principles, techniques, languages, and standard programming styles and conventions.
• Ability to manage multiple priority tasks.
• Self-motivated task identification.
