About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in WordPress development, demonstrating a strong ability to create and manage a fully functional multi-lingual website, utilizing custom themes and dozens of plugins. You will collaborate closely with our design and project management teams to build and manage a robust, scalable, and high-quality WordPress website.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of our WordPress website independently.
• Work closely with the Website Project Manager
• To plan, develop, and deploy fixes for known bugs
• To lead the implementation of new features, plugins, pages and posts.
• To understand new requirements and provide accurate task timelines.
• Implement and integrate WordPress plugins, APIs, and third-party applications.
• Customize and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
• Manage releases and version history of our website, and ensure a fully functioning website all the time.
• Work closely with the Marketing design team to translate website designs into actual WP pages.
• Work closely with our translation team to ensure all pages are functional in all languages that we support.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of performance and security considerations.

About You:
• 7+ years of full-time experience (excluding internships) in WordPress Website Development.
• Experience building and maintaining at least 3 responsive WordPress websites (with a minimum of 20 website pages each)
• Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML for front-end development.
• Hands-on experience working with plugins like WPML, CookieYes, Optinmonster, Gravity Forms etc.
• Experience building custom themes from scratch
• Proficient in English communication for effective collaboration with team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work as an individual contributor..
• Familiarity with version control systems.
