Role Overview:
As the SEO and Content Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies, optimizing website content, and creating high-quality, engaging content to attract and retain our target audience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive organic growth, increase brand visibility, and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø SEO Strategy and Optimization:
o Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings.
o Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits to identify optimization opportunities.
o Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking structure for improved search engine performance.
o Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics, such as traffic, rankings, and conversion rates, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
Ø Content Creation and Management:
o Create high-quality, SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, website copy, infographics, and videos, aligned with target keywords and audience personas.
o Develop content calendars, editorial plans, and content promotion strategies to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and support lead generation efforts.
o Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external contributors to generate compelling content ideas and ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice.
Ø Link-Building and Outreach:
o Identify link-building opportunities and implement outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
o Build relationships with industry influencers, bloggers, and journalists to amplify content reach and increase online visibility.
Ø Technical SEO and Website Optimization:
o Work closely with the web development team to implement technical SEO recommendations, such as site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness etc.
o Conduct regular website audits to identify technical issues, crawl errors, and indexing issues, and implement solutions to improve site performance and user experience.
