We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify App Developer to create a custom private app designed to enhance the checkout process by creating a cart drawer page that automatically adds a shipping protection add-on but also gives customers the option to deselect it. This app will be used in our Shopify store and offered to other merchants through a subscription model.

Responsibilities:

App Development: Develop a private Shopify app that preselects a shipping protection add-on during checkout, with the option for customers to deselect this add-on if they choose.

Landing Page Creation: Design and develop a simple, user-friendly landing page for the app, which will provide information and facilitate subscriptions for other merchants.

Subscription Integration: Set up a subscription payment system that charges based on order volume, linked to a Stripe account.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Shopify app development, with a portfolio of completed projects.

Strong knowledge of Shopify's API and development tools.

Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

Ability to integrate Stripe or other payment gateways for subscription management.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Project Deliverables:

A fully functional Shopify app as described.

A landing page that includes subscription options and information about the app.

Integration of a subscription-based payment system tied to app usage, with metrics based on order volume.
