Job Description

Responsibilities

• We need an experienced Shopify developer to assess and fix issues with our existing headless Shopify implementation using Sanity.io
• This is an exploratory assignment to determine the best path forward - either fixing current bugs or migrating to a different architecture using Shopify Oxygen
• Custom cart link functionality: Users can't modify cart contents when accessing shared cart links
• Sanity.io bandwidth usage concerns and troubleshooting
• Unreliable practitioner notification workflow through Klaviyo
• Custom checkout fields (date of birth, gender) not properly saving to our Lab Orders Manager (Airtable)
• Technical assessment of current headless implementation
• Bug fixing recommendations with estimated effort
• Strategic recommendation on whether to:
• Fix the current headless implementation
• Migrate to Shopify Oxygen
• Feasibility assessment for creating "spin-off shops" for specific influencers
• Documentation of findings and recommendations
• Your approach to technical assessment and documentation

Requirements

• Strong experience with headless Shopify architecture
• Knowledge of Sanity.io CMS
• Experience with Shopify Oxygen
• Familiarity with Klaviyo integration
• Understanding of API integrations (specifically Airtable)
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Experience with troubleshooting similar integration issues
