I'm looking for a Shopify developer (Liquid + JS) to help integrate a custom product configurator embedded via iframe into my Shopify product page, with the following requirements:

✅ The price selected or generated inside the iframe should be passed to Shopify

✅ When the user clicks a button (e.g., "Submit Order") inside the iframe, the configured product should be added to the Shopify cart

✅ The checkout process must remain fully within Shopify (no external redirects)

Current Setup:

The configurator is hosted externally (GitHub Pages) and embedded using product.metafields.custom.configurator_url

The iframe is fully functional and generates a custom configuration with a dynamic price

What I need:

A way to communicate between the iframe and Shopify so that:

The selected price is added to the cart

(Optional) Product notes or configuration summary are included in the order

Seamless integration with Shopify’s cart and checkout process

A clean, maintainable solution (documented if possible)

Tech Stack:

Shopify (Liquid, AJAX API)

JavaScript (for iframe to parent communication)

(Optional) Shopify Functions or Webhooks for advanced logic

Notes:

This is a one-time job, but if the collaboration goes well, I may have more work (I run a custom furniture brand).

Please share relevant experience or similar Shopify integrations.
