Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Shopify developer to migrate content from one Shopify store into an existing Shopify store, with complete URL and domain redirection to ensure SEO continuity and a smooth user experience.

Scope of Work:

Migrate all relevant content (products, collections, pages, blogs, images, metadata, etc.) from the source Shopify store to the destination existing Shopify store.

Redirect all old URLs (products, collections, pages, blogs, etc.) to their corresponding URLs on the new store using 301 redirects.

Redirect the old domain to the new store’s domain so that any traffic or links pointing to the original site will automatically route to the correct location on the current store.

Preserve SEO by maintaining URL structure where possible or properly mapping redirects.

Test and verify that all legacy and external links are redirected correctly.

Work closely with our team to ensure no duplicate content and that the integration with the existing store is seamless.

Requirements:

Proven experience with Shopify-to-Shopify migrations

Strong knowledge of 301 redirection and SEO best practices

Experience with domain redirects and DNS settings

Ability to build and implement comprehensive redirect mapping

Detail-oriented and thorough in testing and QA

Available to begin work promptly

Nice to Have:

Experience with Shopify Plus (if applicable)

Familiarity with redirect management tools and Shopify admin settings

SEO auditing tools experience (Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.)
