🚀 Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Performance Optimization Expert to help us enhance our store’s speed, functionality, and overall performance for mobile and desktop. We operate a Shopify Plus store and need a specialist who can analyze, clean up, and optimize our entire store—from code improvements to app and file optimization.

We’ve worked with a speed optimizer specialist in the past, but unfortunately, it didn’t improve performance of mobile. Now, we need a serious expert who can go deeper and deliver real results.

🔎 What We Need

✅ Full Shopify Performance Optimization

• Identify and resolve speed & loading issues (especially interaction delays)

• Clean up unnecessary apps, scripts, and liquid code

• Optimize images, files, and third-party apps to enhance loading speed

• Minimize unused JavaScript and CSS

✅ Bug Fixing & Store Stability

• Troubleshoot and fix any existing errors or performance-related bugs

• Ensure smooth operation across all devices and browsers

✅ Custom Shopify Plus Checkout Design

• We’d like to customize our Shopify Plus checkout to match the branding of another store we own

• Ensure smooth functionality and a high-converting checkout experience

✅ Optimization Across Markets & Subdomains

• Our store operates in multiple markets (DE/AT/CH/NL/BE/FR, etc.) with subdomains and currency/language redirects

• Ensure the optimizations work seamlessly across all subdomains

🛠️ Requirements

🔹 Proven experience optimizing Shopify stores (especially Shopify Plus)

🔹 Strong knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript, and performance optimization tools

🔹 Experience with third-party app management and cleanup

🔹 Understanding of Shopify Markets, international redirects, and multi-language stores

🔹 Ability to analyze speed performance using tools like Lighthouse & GTmetrix

🔹 Experience with Shopify checkout customization (Plus-only feature)
