Position: Shopify Project Reviewer & Launch Specialist (Contract/Freelance)
We’re looking for an experienced Shopify expert to join our team on a short-term basis to review a Shopify store currently being developed by a contractor and help us prepare it for a successful production launch.
What You’ll Do:
Audit and review the delivered Shopify store to ensure quality, functionality, and alignment with our business goals.
Identify any issues, bugs, or missing features, and work closely with the current contractor or our internal team to resolve them.
Ensure best practices in Shopify theme setup, responsiveness, SEO, performance, and app integrations.
Assist in configuring final store settings (shipping, taxes, payment gateways, domains, etc.) to get the store production-ready.
Support the launch process, ensuring a smooth transition from staging to live.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Shopify store setup, customization, and launch.
Strong understanding of Shopify themes, Liquid, and relevant apps/integrations.
Ability to audit third-party work and provide clear, actionable feedback.
Familiarity with Shopify Plus (a bonus, not required).
Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Timeline:
This is a short-term contract role, estimated at 1-2 weeks of engagement, with potential for follow-up work post-launch.
