As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Shopify App Developer to join our team and help us tackle critical challenges with confidence.

The Challenge

Do you actually enjoy opening the theme editor, popping open theme.liquid, and hunting down the one line of JS that’s nuking your render pipeline? We need a real problem‑solver who can:
• Dissect unfamiliar themes and pinpoint conflicts fast
• Wire our React/Remix components into Liquid, JSON templates, and Shopify’s Section Rendering API
• Ship fixes that don’t break on the next theme update

What You’ll Own
• Audit, debug, and patch theme‑specific issues blocking our app embeds & blocks
• Build lightweight compatibility shims and documentation so future installs “just work”
• Coordinate directly with our founders when something on a merchant’s live store is on fire (expect some real‑time Slack/Google Meet triage)
• Contribute to longer‑term refactors that make theme support easier, choosing the tech you believe will get us there

Must‑Haves
• 2+ years hands‑on Shopify theme & app development (public apps preferred)
• Deep understanding of Liquid, JSON templates, and theme extension APIs
• Comfort with React (Remix), GraphQL Admin & Storefront APIs, and Polaris UI
• You diagnose first, code second—“why” matters more than “works on my machine”
• Available for at least 15–25 hours/week during North‑American business hours

Nice‑to‑Haves
• Experience creating theme compatibility layers for other SaaS apps
• Familiarity with Continuous Deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Based in or near Salt Lake City, UT—we love the talent pool and cost of living, but fully‑remote within the U S is fine if you can overlap our hours

Contract Details & Path to Full‑Time
• $2,000–$3,000 per month retainer (roughly $25–$35/hr depending on output)
• Initial 3‑month contract → clear performance goals → option to convert to full‑time with equity upside
• We invest in people who move fast, communicate clearly, and ship reliable code—prove that and we’ll scale together
