The program is looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Web UI (VueJS/Angular) development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and user-friendly web applications using VueJS and Angular. The candidate will work closely with designers and back-end developers to deliver high-quality products that meet the customers' needs.The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade- offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.Responsibilities:* Develop and maintain web applications using VueJS and/or Angular (latest versions)
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean and efficient Angular code
• Write tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Ensure high performance and cross-browser compatibility of applications
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to integrate APIs and implement user interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practicesRequired Skills/Experience:* Experience in front-end web development
• Strong proficiency in VueJS, Angular (latest versions) and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Familiarity with Selenium, Git, Jenkins
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skillsDesired:* Experience with NgRx or other state management libraries
• Experience with UI libraries like Angular Material, PrimeNG, etc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Contributions to open-source projectsQualifications:
Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.**This position requires PRIVAC. Candidate must have a current (within 7 years) poly and/or currently possess the minimum level of PRIVAC required for this role (NSYS). When submitting candidates, please confirm their poly/PRIVAC status.**Salary Range:
$162k-$294k (Annually)*
