Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer I

Pay rate: ($51 to 57 per hour)

Duration: 12 months

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Milan, IL, 61264 (Onsite)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Perform analysis, design, and development for Customer Facing applications using Jacascript, React, Redux, Node JS and Amazon Web Services

•Troubleshoot ISG Applications, Infrastructure, and Networks in the Cloud & on premise

•Engage in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives and hackathons

•Advocate for a culture of software craftsmanship best practices, including Test Automation, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment

•Collaborate with stakeholders, architects and supporting teams to define product requirements and system design

•Define and create technical solutions, work with technology leads and implement the solutions

•Provide technical assistance and guidance to the development team

•Perform code review to maintain high quality and easily maintainable source code

•Perform required activities to move software upgrades in applications through Development, Quality and Certification to Production systems

•Use continuous integration tools like Jenkins for creating builds, unit tests and code coverage analysis

•Be involved in practices including but not limited to TDD, Automated Testing, XP, CI/CD, Monitoring

•Ensure the applications are following SOX standards

•Perform Tier 2 support for Customer Facing applications
