Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provides architectural guidelines for all software design activities to current and future technological environments
• Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies
• Responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technological activities
• A successful candidate will be responsible to mentor, and evaluate performance of technical teams and act as an advisor while resolving critical and complex technical and/or operational challenges
• Solution architecture across multiple projects
• Creation and grooming of technical backlog items
• Coordination with UI/UX architect, enterprise architects and government architects for solutions

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and be capable of working at all levels of the organization, internal and external, to ensure technical objectives are met
• Minimum of 12+ years of professional experience supporting the software and or systems engineering discipline
• 5 to 7 years experience as a solution architect
• 2 to 3 years experience as a system/software architect supporting multiple, integrated applications
• Understanding of modern web technologies (angular JS, php, bootstrap, angularstrap) and best practices for implementing them
• SOA, enterprise services
• Git/Git flow
• Experience implementing continuous integration
• Experience working on Agile / Kanban projects
• Soft skills including team leadership, mentoring, consensus-building, customer communications
