Job Description
Our UX team is an important part of our Customer Experience team. On top of traditional CX and the analysis of measurement and metrics, we are a trusted partner in our digital transformation, responsible for UX and HCD. We ensure that the design of our technical solutions represent and meet the needs of our customers by gaining a true appreciation for them and putting them at the center of our decision-making process. The team provides perspective, ideas, as well as concepts through prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, usability tests, etc. Together, we influence the direction, prioritization, and development within our agile teams.
We believe that a design system should emerge from the needs of our teams and are looking for a strong Design System Engineer excited to put users first. You will be part of a team with extensive ownership and the ability to help set best practices and contribute to improvements. As a craft leader, you'll be responsible for contributing to the vision, strategy, and development of the OneRoof design system. You will advocate for our reusable design elements and its corresponding code to improve efficiency, scalability, standardization across enterprise applications. Additionally, you will be proactive in spearheading new initiatives, coding, and documenting components, building design system tooling to improve workflows and overseeing UI component design while providing timely feedback in reviews to improve system guidelines. You will think and plan strategically for short and long-term initiatives to continue shaping the product.
Day to Day of the role/team: This shared services team is tasked with building out the internal component library/design system to support a portfolio of 15-20 teams that require UI work. The team is building on Angular and extending the Angular Material Component Library. This role involves integrating components to ensure they match the ecosystem and identifying where custom components need to be developed, all within an agile team.

• Proficient at writing technical documentation
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
