Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)

Work Authorization: US Citizen; Green Card; Green Card EAD only

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in .NET development, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building robust and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the latest .NET frameworks and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise software applications using C# and the latest .NET frameworks.
• Build and maintain .NET Core web applications.
• Design, develop, and implement RESTful services, Web APIs, and WCF services.
• Ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement and maintain SOAP- or REST-based web services using XML and JSON.
• Work with front-end technologies such as AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and maintain windows desktop applications using VB6 (as needed).
• Write and optimize TSQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for Microsoft SQL.
• Utilize SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting.
• Implement unit tests using frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, and Moq.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Utilize Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
• Work in an Agile environment, following SCRUM or Kanban methodologies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Experience in:
• Solid C# .NET development experience up to the latest .NET frameworks.
• Experience with .NET Core web application development.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise software development and maintenance using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, and REST services.
• Proficiency in SOAP- or REST-based web services, XML, and JSON technologies.
• Experience with AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in developing/maintaining windows desktop applications developed in VB6 would be a plus.
• Strong TSQL skills and experience in constructing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for Microsoft SQL.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, and Moq.
• Experience in configuring builds and deployments on CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps and Jenkins).
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Confluence.
• Experience with Cloud (AWS) will be a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, SCRUM/Kanban.
