Sr Full Stack Engineer, TypeScript/Node

Position Overview

We are an AI solutions startup that recently secured Series B funding! Our mission is to shape the future of the medical industry with our FDA-cleared computer vision capabilities. Currently, we're experiencing hyper-growth and are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team who will work on both internal and external products.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain full stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and Kafka for efficient data processing.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with a focus on TypeScript.
• Proficient in Node.js, Express.js OR Golang and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda and SQS.
• Familiarity with event streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
