Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team, supporting our federal clients. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and scalable solutions that address complex business challenges, leveraging your expertise in systems architecture and federal requirements. You will interact with business users, leadership teams, and technical experts to drive solution design, contribute to strategic decision-making, and provide key recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design Solutions: Lead the development of comprehensive, scalable, and secure technical solutions tailored to federal clients’ needs, aligning with strategic objectives and mission requirements.
• Propose Design Options: Present and explain multiple design alternatives to both business users and leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals, operational requirements, and compliance standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and process models, to effectively communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Business Analysis: Analyze highly complex business issue, identifying inefficiencies, potential improvements, and new technology opportunities.
• Research & Assessments: Conduct thorough research and technical assessments to identify emerging technologies and industry trends that can benefit the organization and enhance service delivery.
• Evaluate Systems: Assess existing systems to evaluate their strengths, weaknesses, and alignment with current and future business needs, providing actionable recommendations for optimization or redesign.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to a wide range of audiences, including junior staff, mid-level managers, senior executives, and clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are designed, developed, and deployed successfully within required timelines and federal compliance standards.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with system design, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with federal regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to internal process improvements and best practices in solution design and architecture, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of technology innovation.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in solutions architecture
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems and propose innovative, effective technical solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership and government stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think strategically and independently.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain or hold a federal security clearance may be required depending on the client.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with federal government agencies and projects
• Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, including ITIL and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Appian.
