Akkodis is seeking a SRE with Python /Go /Scala(development) for a Contract job with a client in Mclean/Richmond VA . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry .

Duration: ~12 months

Rate -$90-95/hr on C2C , the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Top MUST HAVE:
• Reliability and operational set mindset.
• Observability focus – how to make sure they have the quality of success for the platform
• Development with Python and Go – they will be making changes to the code base and doing the development.
• Scala

He said to look for more of a SRE with DevOps or DevOps with development. He is not looking for strictly a developer (he said they normally don’t have the proper mindset).

Interview Process: zoom – he will tell someone that something is broken and he wants to see how the candidates would find the issue and fix it. Looking at how they are breaking down the problem, looking at it and pitching a solution to the position.
