Senior Testing Engineer (Automation)

Job brief

We are looking for a Test Engineer with experience in testing high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. You will be responsible for testing webstack applications while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle.

Roles And Responsibilities
• Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data.
• Carry out testing as per the defined procedures.
• Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures.
• Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out.
• Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
• Generate traceability matrices all the way from user stories or business requirements to automated testcases

Technical Skills:
• Must have 5+ Years of experience in application testing and testing methodologies with primary focus in Automation testing.
• Test, build and configure test cases to meet business process and application requirements by Automation testing
• Proficiency in Java or Python or any other Object-Oriented Language.
• Understanding of the Testing/QA concepts i.e. test cases, defects, requirement traceability matrix.
• Good knowledge of Core Java with Rest-Assured / Rest API / Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience of WebServices, Microservices (RESTful, SOAP), Angular Web UI Testing
• Good knowledge in Backend Databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Define, develop, maintain, report and execute manual / automation tests for basic, regression, load & performance related.
• Familiarity with various tools - JMeter, Selenium, Selenium Web driver, JIRA, Shell scripting(Unix), python
• Ability to design and develop test automation frameworks
• Experience working in an Agile environment
