UI Architect with Node.js
The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced UI Architect with Node.js Web Development React JS or Angular The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires excellent English language skills and offers a day shift schedule. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of web applications using Node.js React JS or Angular 13-16.
• Oversee the architecture and implementation of complex web solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Ensure the scalability and performance of web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for web applications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Implement security best practices in web application development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in Life and Annuities Insurance.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Qualifications
• Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in web development with Node.js React JS or Angular 13-16.
• Demonstrate expertise in Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Show proficiency in English language skills (Read/Write Speak).
• Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications.
• Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Have experience in hybrid work environments.
• Show ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of web security best practices.
• Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
• Have experience with agile development methodologies.
• Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Certifications Required

Preferred Certified Node.js Developer Certified Web Development Professional Certified React JS Developer

The Salary rate for this position is between $102,600 K -162,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
