We are seeking a talented UI/UX designer to enhance the user interface and experience of our online course, which is hosted on a WordPress site. This is a writing course for high school students with fully-tested content. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics and usability, ensuring our platform is engaging, accessible, and easy to navigate. Responsibilities include redesigning course layouts, improving navigation, and optimizing overall user experience. If you possess creativity, technical skills, and experience, we would love to see your portfolio and discuss potential improvements.
The project includes creating a brand/style guide with details including measurements, fonts, how videos should be displayed, typography, etc. The learning system is a fully custom learning experience, and does not follow the pattern of traditional LMS systems. This is an interactive application, requiring input areas, and dashboards for users to review their work. Prior experience with LMS is good, but more important is experience with UX, clear navigation, readability and design concepts.
You will primarily be designing a style guide to set the design rulebook for the application. These rules will be applied not only to the student dashboard and inputs, but also to other interactive areas of the application which serve our other customer segments. Design rules need to be established for desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces.
We have attached screenshots of our current application design. We are not looking for someone to implement the design - we have a developer who will do that.
