Position Responsibilities:
• Expert in HTML/CSS, PHP and fluent in web application design patterns, including frameworks like CakePHP, Codeigniter, etc.
• Perform user interface requirements analysis in collaboration with the development team.
• You’re a leader who can spearhead work but also capable of being a great team player who can communicate well with your teammates.
• Develop exciting modules to simplify and enhance the everyday lives of people who use the internet daily for work or play.
• Enhance the technical team with your brilliance in programming, developing web applications, and writing algorithms.
• Debug and troubleshoot web work to improve the functionality of applications, reducing complexity and increasing elegance as far as possible.
• Customizing themes of different technologies including WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal, OpenCart, etc.
• You dive into the code and are confident of coding as well as or better than us.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Strong experience in object-oriented design and development.
• Experience in relational database development (MySQL, SQLite).
• Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate effort, prioritize and deliver on commitments.
• Preferable if knowledge of web development frameworks: TurboGears, CodeIgniter, Ruby on rails, etc.
• Customization of Joomla, WordPress and other Open source CMS using PHP/MySQL.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Very attentive to detail with a high degree of creativity.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and oral/written communication skills.
• Self-managed, decisive and results-focused.
• Optional and preferred if knowledge of the following: Flash, ActionScript, Flex, etc.
• Social App Development - Experience in building social sites or apps (Facebook, etc.).
• Ability to work with the team and under pressure to meet the tight deadlines of multiple priorities.
