Job Title: Website Designer for an information and affiliate website for all things to do with sleep. (WordPress Preferred)
Project Overview: I am looking for a skilled website designer to build a sleep information site similar to www.thespruce.com. The website will feature articles, product reviews, and affiliate marketing integrations (Amazon Associates and others). It should be built with a scalable template that allows me to easily manage and update content, with the option for future upgrades, additional features, and ongoing support as needed.
Key Requirements:
Platform: WordPress (preferred)
Design: Clean, modern, and easy to navigate, optimized for readability.
Scalability: Must allow for future expansion (adding new categories, plugins, etc.).
Affiliate Integration: Amazon Associates and other product review links.
SEO Optimization: Fast loading, mobile-friendly, and structured for organic search growth.
CMS Simplicity: A user-friendly backend so I can upload and edit content without coding knowledge.
Plugins & Features: SEO, security, performance optimization, email sign-ups, and ad integration (later date).
Mobile Optimization: Responsive design across all devices.
Ownership & Access: Full ownership of the website upon completion.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience designing content-heavy websites (blogs, niche sites, or review sites).
Strong knowledge of WordPress, themes, and plugins.
Experience with SEO best practices and page speed optimization.
Familiarity with affiliate marketing and monetization strategies.
Ability to provide ad hoc ongoing support
Portfolio of similar projects.
Deliverables:
Fully functional website that meets the outlined specifications.
Clear documentation/training on how to manage and update the site.
Recommendations for hosting and best practices for site maintenance.
I do not have all the information yet for the site, but I would like to get the basic site made with more advanced features, plugins, etc., in the future. Can you give me the estimated timeline for completion, pricing for website setup and any ongoing support options.
