Job Description
The Web Developer will oversee development, operation and maintenance of National CORE, Hope through Housing and related organizational websites to ensure they are highly effective at presenting the companies' strengths, graphically pleasing and intuitively designed. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Website development: Work with the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications and the Assistance Vice President of Marketing & Communications to create highly effective websites for our collection of companies and enterprises, including National CORE, Hope through Housing, Amplify Communities, CORE Relocation, COREvolution, RR Properties and National CORE Productions.
• Website Maintenance: Ensure our websites operate at peak UI/UX efficiency. This includes implementing essential SEO, ADA, other legal and security components, monitoring for quality-improving upgrades, auditing existing content for needs, troubleshooting issues, evaluating competitors, following industry best practices, maintaining domain and hosting status, reviewing and advising on analytics, and researching options for plug-ins to improve performance and efficiency.
• Website content/updating: Assist the Marketing & Communications team with updating website-based blogs, video and other content to keep them fresh and relevant. This work will be in coordination with other team communication efforts in print collateral, video and social media.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, communications and other teams to support overall business objectives.
• Other duties as may be needed or required at the request of management
Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in WordPress
• Proficiency in programming languages, including HTML, JavaScript, PHP, etc.
• Experienced/knowledge of DIVI builder is preferred
• Understanding of website accessibility standards
• Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices
• Expertise in federal ADA standards and requirements
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
• Understanding of network diagnostics and analytical tools
• Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics platforms
• Knowledge essential copyright regulations
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles to ensure cohesive and user-friendly experiences across digital platforms and products
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and trends, leveraging emerging tools and platforms for innovative branding strategies

Education/Experience
• A bachelor's degree or associate degree in Web design, Web Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in related web fields
• Ability to work flexible hours. The ability to travel is required
• Valid driver license, current insurance, vehicle available
