Web Developer

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Web Developer who specializes in WordPress and Shopify development. If you’re passionate about crafting user-friendly, high-converting websites and have a keen eye for design and functionality, we want to hear from you!

Full-time

Build, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress themes.
Develop, customize and optimize Shopify themes (Liquid templates), apps and sections to deliver polished storefront experiences.
Implement front-end features using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and jQuery) to ensure pixel-perfect layouts across browsers and devices.
Evaluate, install, configure and maintain WordPress plugins and Shopify apps—ensuring compatibility, performance and security.
Write custom PHP snippets or small plugins to extend core platform functionality where off-the-shelf solutions fall short.
Monitor and optimize site performance:
page-load times, caching layers (Redis, Varnish), image- and asset-optimization, database tuning.
Perform regular security audits, apply platform updates, patch vulnerabilities, and harden WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify stores against threats.
Work with designers and content teams to implement UI/UX best-practices—A/B testing, mobile usability, accessibility (WCAG) compliance.
semantic markup, metadata, structured data (JSON-LD), sitemap generation, and robots.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues—bug fixes, rollback plans, hot-fixes, root-cause analysis and long-term remediation.
Document code, configurations, and operational run-books.
Stay up to date with the latest platform updates (WordPress core, WooCommerce releases, Shopify and APIs), front-end frameworks, and e-commerce trends.
Proactively propose new features, tools or workflows to improve efficiency, security, site performance, and customer experience.
Manage website migrations, backups, and updates

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Web development (WordPress and Shopify development)
• Proven portfolio showcasing WordPress and Shopify websites you've built or managed
• Experience working in an agency or fast-paced environment is a plus

Strong proficiency in WordPress (custom themes, plugins)
Hands-on experience with Shopify (theme customization, Shopify Liquid)
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Knowledge of PHP and MySQL
Experience with page builders like Elementor (for WordPress)
Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization
Knowledge of basic UI/UX principles
Deep familiarity with WooCommerce, including product configuration, payment gateways, shipping rules, subscriptions, extensions, and performance tuning.
Experience integrating third-party APIs & webhooks.
