Job Title: Web Developer – ReactJS & NodeJS
Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week, typically Tues, Wed, Thurs)
Duration & Type: 3 Month Initial Contract with quarterly extensions

Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a Web Developer – ReactJS & NodeJS to contribute to the Retail Shopping Experience. This role involves developing, designing, and maintaining web applications with a focus on creating seamless and engaging eCommerce experiences. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to implement new features, ensure code quality, and optimize functionality. A strong background in ReactJS and NodeJS is required, with additional experience in eCommerce platforms, Java, PHP, and Drupal being highly desirable. What You Will Be Accountable For
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Work with Product Managers and Software Engineers to implement new features on Walgreens.com.
• Use authoring and scripting languages to enhance web applications and improve digital media integration.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback.
• Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards, and is compatible across devices and operating systems.
• Ensure optimal site performance, security, and responsiveness for all users.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning.

What Qualifications You Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training.
• 5-7 years of experience in web development and application design.
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Experience working with authoring/scripting languages, content creation tools, and web management tools.
• Strong problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Onsite requirement: Must be available 3 days per week in Deerfield, IL.

Preferred
• Experience working on an eCommerce website.
• Knowledge of Java, PHP, Drupal.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other design techniques and principles.
• Understanding of SQL databases and server-side scripting.
