Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote WordPress Admin to join their team.

Responsibilities:
• WordPress Admin will execute security remediation for all WordPress sites, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with security best practices
• Manage admin access control, implementing secure authentication and user permissions
• Oversee software updates, including core WordPress updates, plugin patches, and custom code maintenance
• Conduct backup and disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation
• Perform regression testing to validate updates before pushing them to production
• Support hosting management, to track hosting environments and ensure security and stability
• Assist in the integration of SSO (Okta) for site administrators
• Support WordPress Engine-based hosting and administration, including executing plugin updates and evaluating dependencies
• Collaborate with the Creative Team and Security Team to align security updates with business needs
• Participate in twice-weekly stand-up meetings with offshore teams to track work progress, blockers, and resolutions
• As a WordPress Admin, you will investigate and document hosting details for 10 sites with limited hosting visibility, providing recommendations for consolidation and optimization
• Support the transition to a single umbrella hosting solution to centralize management, billing, and subscriptions
• Work with franchise teams to maintain brand consistency across franchise websites while enabling brand-specific customizations
• Administer Atlassian/SharePoint tools as needed for tracking security updates and technical documentation
• 3+ years of WordPress administration experience, including security updates, plugin management, and custom code handling
• Experience in admin access control and permissions management
• Experience working with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and SharePoint
• Experience with SSO integrations (preferably Okta)
• Knowledge of regression testing and maintaining production-ready updates
• Strong expertise in WordPress Engine, hosting environments (AWS, Linux, WordPress Server, Virtual Machines)
• Familiarity with security best practices for WordPress sites
• Proficiency in backup and disaster recovery planning and execution
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and remediate hosting and security issues
• Ability to collaborate with business owners, creative teams, and offshore teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
