Intellibright is looking for a Wordpress Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining modern, attractive, and responsive websites for our clients. This role requires a combination of lowcode website building tools, programming knowledge, and aesthetics. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems, with an emphasis on WordPress . An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is preferred. The ability to incorporate a variety of apps and software programs to help speed up and scale the development process is a bonus!

We have the top floor of a West Lake office building with a huge outdoor covered deck overlooking the Hill Country and free parking in our dedicated underground garage. Currently, we’re working a hybrid schedule with M/W/F in-office and T/TH work from home.

Responsibilities
• Drive website development and maintenance using WordPress and Elementor
• Transferring Figma design files into responsive WordPress pages
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting
• Stay updated with industry trends and web development technologies
• Create clean, beautiful websites true to the designer’s vision.
• Work with the design team on aesthetic and functional specifications
• Deliver projects on time and within scope

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, bootcamp, relevant experience, and career switchers welcome.
• 2+ years WordPress development experience
• Understanding of responsive web development principles and best practices
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, PHP (or similar), and JavaScript
• Experience with WordPress page builders (Avada, Divi, Elementor, etc.)
• Knowledge of WordPress standards and functionality
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow as a developer
• Comfortable with debugging tools (Firebug, Chrome inspector)
• Familiar working with designers and with a high reliance on design software (Figma, Photoshop)
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate and discuss technical topics with both technical and business audiences
• Be a key element of success and a stable partner in a changing industry
• Austin, TX - Live in Austin or be willing to relocate

Experiences above and beyond expectations:
• Extreme familiarity with WPEngine - years of heavy daily use
• Implementing Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Custom Post Type UI in WordPress
• Building custom WordPress plugins and troubleshooting the resulting dependencies
• Applying SEO site mapping and planning tools to website build plans
• Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Specific experience with scheduling, call tracking, prospect creation, prioritization and other lead gen and Customer Relationship Management systems integrations.
• Responding to urgent client requests in a fast-paced agency environment
• Implementing design fidelity and other design control systems or automated visual regression testing.
