• *Project Overview
I'm seeking an experienced WordPress developer to migrate my professional speaker and author website from Wix to WordPress. This is a comprehensive migration project with a 2-week timeline, requiring expertise in WordPress customization, SEO preservation, and responsive design implementation.
The project involves customizing the Everlead WordPress theme (Life Coach and Speaker Theme) to create a polished, professional website that positions me as a thought leader and speaker while showcasing my book and content.

Timeline: 2-week completion from project kickoff
Theme: Everlead Life Coach and Speaker Theme (already purchased)
Hosting: Will be provided by client
Content & Assets: All content and visual assets will be provided
• *Requirements
• Technical Skills:
Proven experience migrating websites from Wix to WordPress
Strong proficiency with WordPress customization and the Everlead theme (or similar themes)
Experience implementing 301 redirects and SEO preservation during migrations
Ability to customize WordPress themes without compromising responsive design
Knowledge of WordPress performance optimization techniques
Experience with contact forms, media galleries, and blog organization
• Project Management:
Must use a professional project management tool (Basecamp preferred)
Available for weekly progress meetings with live demonstrations
Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
Organized approach to task management and milestone tracking
Detail-oriented with strong documentation practices
• *Scope of Work
Website Migration: Transfer and implement all content from existing Wix site to new WordPress site using the Everlead theme
Design Customization: Customize theme according to existing brand guidelines
SEO Implementation: Set up proper redirects, meta information, and SEO optimization
Responsive Testing: Ensure perfect display across all devices and browsers
Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for site speed and performance
Post-Launch Support: Provide 30 days of technical support following launch, including analytics review and performance adjustments as needed
