Overview:
We are seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant. Must have Wordpress experience. This position will provide support to our operations department and assist with administrative and media tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of technology, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Includes paid training.
Duties:
Overseeing the development and maintenance of company 's WordPress and website, ensuring they are up-to-date, secure, and functioning optimally:
Website Content updates (Including WooCommerce Products etc.) Upload content on a daily, weekly basis or as needed.
Keep plugins and themes updated so they don 't get infected by viruses.
Keep the design up to date as well.
Page additions and deletions as needed.
Speed Optimization.
Fix WordPress bugs.
WP Core, Theme and Plugins update.
Regular backups.
Resolving warnings from Hosting / cPanel.
Website Audit.
Monthly reporting on website performance improvements, and work performed.
Improvement suggestions.
Training and guidance for ongoing maintenance. Live Q&As and 24/7 Availability by text message Video conferencing as needed.
On-page, off-page, technical Search Engine Optimization, (SEO) search engine marketing, Authentis1G (SEM) and pay-per-click. (PPC) Services includes but not limited to:
Updating title tags, meta descriptions, and header tags for search. Auditing company 's website's information architecture, redirects, and internal linking structure.
Creating a sitemap.
Optimizing company 's site images according to best practices.
Suggesting strategies for company 's ranking on search engine results pages. (SERP)
Qualifications:
• Experience managing WordPress websites and business operations
• Demonstration of skills
• Strong understanding of web design and development principles
• Experience with social media content development and management
• Proficient with technology and managing calendars (Google, Microsoft, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in file management, both electronic and physical
• Accurate data entry skills with a focus on speed and efficiency
• Previous experience in event planning is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
