Responsibilities

• Consistent with the vision and values of Vivid Image, programmers take websites through the build process, integrate third-party platforms, software, plug-ins, and other tools and make online processes as seamless as possible
• Problem-solving, documentation, attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are required for this position
• It’s imperative that everyone at Vivid Image is able to work both independently and collaboratively to meet client needs and meaningfully contribute to the team
• Apply knowledge of web development principles and usability standards
• Assist Account Directors and Sales roles with project scope, time estimates, and quotes
• Attend scheduled intake, strategy, and brainstorming sessions with clients
• Website development
• Develop queries based on project needs
• E-commerce builds
• Google Analytics Integration and event tracking, reporting
• WordPress, plug-in, server, and website updates
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Research programming, functionality, trends, tools
• Communicate project updates in a timely manner
• Attend and participate in client meetings, as well as internal meetings
• Technical, email, and server support
• DNS records
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will possess a wide range of web development capabilities with a solid background in WordPress site development and PHP programming
• Experience with JavaScript/jQuery
• Solid understanding of MySQL databases and queries
• Experience & solid understanding of domains, domain transfers, and DNS records
