The company is committed to providing customers with seamless end-to-end services that include end-user training, product warranties, and technical support services.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a part-time remote role for a WordPress Support Specialist. The WordPress Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring website security, consolidating domains and hosting accounts (migrating from Hostinger/Wix to one account), troubleshooting plugin issues, performing regular maintenance and updates, optimizing website performance, and providing ongoing technical support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Secure WordPress sites against vulnerabilities, implement security best practices and perform regular updates.
• Migrate multiple websites from Hostinger and Wix into a single, optimized hosting environment.
• Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, ensure compatibility and apply updates without breaking site functionality.
• Manage DNS settings, set up SSL certificates, and ensure smooth domain transitions.
• Improve website speed, optimize databases, and implement caching/CDN solutions.
• Maintain a structured backup system and document all updates/changes for reference.
• Provide clear and timely communication regarding issues, solutions, and best practices.
QUALIFICATION:
• 3+ years of experience in WordPress site management, security, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress security best practices (firewalls, malware scanning, backups).
• Experience with domain/hosting migrations and DNS management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting plugin conflicts and theme compatibility issues.
• Understanding of CDN, caching, and site speed optimization.
• Experience working with Hostinger, Wix, and other hosting providers.
• Ability to work independently and proactively with clear communication.
• Must be located in North or South America for time zone alignment.
