Job Description
Help manage internal Content Management Systems (CMS) and MS365 Intranet technologies, with a focus on WordPress.
Responsibilities include
• Developing and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring web accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), managing SEO programs, and implementing intranet strategies.
• Troubleshooting website issues, and mentoring website content editors.
Knowledge:
• Deep knowledge of WordPress marketplace: commercial plugins/add-ons
• Experience with WP Engine
• Strong knowledge of large scale, enterprise level WordPress administration, hosting
• Expertise optimizing performance of WordPress sites
• Information Technology architecture and design
• Information Technology systems administration
• ITIL and service management
• Mid-level graphics design experience a plus
• 5 years of experience in systems administration of CMS and Intranet technologies, particularly WordPress.
• Strong knowledge in WordPress administration, SEO, web accessibility, and experience working with design teams.
• The role also requires strategic planning, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
