About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join Caterpillar's Electric Power Division (EPD) as a Ruby on Rails Developer. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of the Ruby on Rails framework and experience working with its recent versions. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with core AWS cloud technologies. This role will involve implementation, problem-solving, maintenance, and support for agile software development.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop software programming applications for target systems using agile methods.
• Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Write source codes for new applications or enhance code samples for existing applications.
• Use automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
Requirements
• Experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Knowledge of web application architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
