We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer with 4-6 years of experience working on Ruby on Rails applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, RSpec, and other technologies used by C4 Technical Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing API endpoints, services, and data models for multiple Rails applications.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement API endpoints, services, and data models for multiple Rails applications.
• Work closely with architects and product owners to create conceptual designs and technical specifications for client-side application work.
• Participate in project technical design meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with quality engineers to create and deliver test plans including automated user testing and integration specs to meet quality objectives.
• Mentor other engineering colleagues in software engineering principles and techniques.
Requirements
• 4-6 years of experience working on Ruby on Rails applications.
• Deep understanding of Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, RSpec, and other technologies used by C4 Technical Services.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas to non-engineering members of the team.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
