We are looking for an experienced freelance developer with expertise in **Shopify, WordPress, and WP Engine** to support our high-end home décor and interior design business. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of best coding practices, technical SEO, and version control, along with proficiency in **HTML, CSS, Liquid, JavaScript, and PHP**.
### **Requirements:**
- Proven experience working with **Shopify and WordPress** development
- Familiarity with **WP Engine** for managed WordPress hosting
- Expertise in **Liquid (Shopify), PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS**
- Strong understanding of **best coding practices** and clean, efficient code
- Experience working with **high-end goods and luxury brands** preferred
- Knowledge of **technical SEO** and site speed optimization is a plus
- Familiarity with **version control (Git or similar tools)**
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and implement scalable solutions
### **Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain **custom Shopify and WordPress themes**
- Ensure all coding follows **best practices and is optimized for performance**
- Work on **front-end and back-end development** as needed
- Optimize websites for **SEO, speed, and user experience**
- Implement new features and improvements while maintaining **site stability**
- Manage website updates, security patches, and troubleshooting
